Driver Fleet provides a commercial fleet dispatch and driver coordination platform for businesses and registered drivers. This policy describes how we collect, handle, and protect your information across our mobile applications (Driver Fleet - Driver App) and dispatch web services.
By downloading, registering, or using our applications, you accept the practices outlined in this policy.
2. Location Data & Background Tracking (Prominent Disclosure)
To enable automated nearby delivery job matching, turn-by-turn navigation, and live cargo tracking for businesses, Driver Fleet collects precise real-time location data.
The Driver Fleet - Driver App collects precise background location data even when the app is closed or not in active use on your screen under the following conditions:
1. When your status is set to "Online" (to discover nearby commercial delivery jobs
within your operational radius and calculate accurate pickup distances).
2. During an active ongoing delivery trip (to provide real-time route progress to the
business dispatching the shipment).
When you switch your status to "Offline", background location access stops immediately.
3. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide reliable dispatch services:
- Contact & Account Details: Mobile phone number, name, profile name, and company/business name.
- Driver Verification Records: Driving license details, vehicle category (2-wheeler, 3-wheeler, tempo, truck), vehicle registration number, and identity verification documents.
- Location Information: Precise GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, speed, and heading) when online or on active trips.
- Trip & Dispatch Logs: Pickup address, drop-off location, cargo category, trip timestamps, and delivery completion status.
- Device & App Diagnostics: Device model, OS version, app crash logs, and network connectivity state for reliability.
4. How We Use Information
Your information is used strictly for platform functionality:
- Matching businesses with the closest available registered drivers.
- Calculating accurate trip distances and estimated times of arrival (ETA).
- Providing real-time live map tracking to the job poster until delivery is confirmed.
- Account verification and fraud prevention.
- Customer support and resolving delivery disputes.
5. Data Sharing & Privacy
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal or location data to any advertisers or third-party marketing companies.
Information is shared only under specific operational circumstances:
- With the Assigned Business: When a driver accepts a delivery, the business posting the trip receives the driver's name, vehicle details, and live trip location until delivery is complete.
- Private Company Data: Each business account operates in a private, isolated workspace. Other companies cannot view your internal trip records or private drivers.
- Legal Compliance: If required by law, official government inquiry, or court order.
6. Security & Data Storage
We apply standard industry safeguards to secure your personal data, including encrypted communications, protected databases, and access controls for all account records.
7. Account & Data Deletion
You have the full right to delete your account and remove your personal information at any time:
- Go to Settings > Delete Account within the mobile app.
- Or email us at driverfleetinfo@gmail.com with your registered phone number or email address.
Upon verification, your account and historical location records will be permanently removed from active databases.
8. Age Requirements
Our platform is designed exclusively for commercial businesses and licensed drivers aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly register or collect data from minors.
